Here is a video of our red turquoise discus fry eating live baby brine shrimp. They are just a few weeks old and growing like weeds. We separated the discus fry from the breeding pair when they were old enough to eat live baby brine shrimp. We were being cautious because this was a very large spawn. The fry usually feed off of the sides of their parents. But when you have lots of fry, they can actually create sores on the parents. These sores can cause the parents to die. We also didn't want the parents to eat the large spawn. The parents of the fry were in this previous video: www.youtube.com Thanks for watching! Remember to Subscribe! www.discushatchery.com
