Known as the Coast of the Gods, Capo Vaticano is home to miles of pristine white beaches, yet to be touched by market tourism. During the summer, the beaches are drenched in sunshine, with temperatures never rising higher than 90 degrees. Along with turquoise-blue waters and spacious beaches, Capo Vaticano is exquisite for a house beach getaway.
On the way to the beach, there are several local restaurants serving deliciously ready seafood and salads featuring the area's exclusive tropea red onions. Unlike typical red onions, this range carries a sweet flavor and a soft, juicy texture. After enjoying a fresh and authentic Italian lunch, the luscious beaches on either side of the Isola di Giorno are waiting for you. Atop the towering Isola is a picturesque old-world chapel. Turning east, you then confronted by boundless miles of crystal clear water and the cape's seemingly never-cloudy sky.

As the day winds down, make your way to any of the nearby beach cafes and enjoy a hot espresso or cappuccino while the kids enjoy homemade gelato or tiramisu. When the sun finally starts to set, watch the horizon as you drive along the area's many mountain roads. For dinner, be sure to enjoy real Italian pizza and maybe even convention your Italian out on the town in the several surrounding towns and cities.
All in all, Capo Vaticano has a diminutive something for everybody (un po 'di cielo) and is sure to please travelers of all kinds. Its right on a place to visit.
